Information Clause

The Pontifical University of John Paul II, with its registered office at 25 Kanonicza Street, is your personal data controller.

We have appointed a Personal Data Protection Inspector, whom you can contact about having your personal data processed:

  • by sending an e-mail to: IODO@upjp2.edu.pl
  • by sending correspondence to the mailing address: Uniwersytet Papieski Jana Pawła II ul. Kanoniczna 25; 31-002 Kraków, with the notation: IOD.

Your personal data will be processed on account of the recruitment process.

The following entities are recipients of your personal data:

  • APR SYSTEM Sp. z o.o. – a software provider for the university
  • the University of Warsaw – with a view to obtaining matriculation exam results
  • the National Agency for Academic Exchange – with a view to verifying foreign diplomas.

Your personal data will be processed for a period of 6 months following the termination of the recruitment process.

In view of the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • a right to access your data, including a right to obtain a copy of your data;
  • a right to rectify (correct) your personal data – if the data are incorrect or incomplete;
  • a right to remove your personal data – if the data are no longer necessary;
  • a right to limit the processing of your personal data;
  • a right to transfer your personal data – if the processing results from an agreement.

If you find processing of your personal data in breach of the law, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
