“Education in the Family – Family in Education”
5th International Conference on Family and Education

16-17th May, 2025, Krakow, Poland

We invite researchers, academic teachers, PhD students, students and people working with families to register for the conference. If you would like to attend the conference as a listener and receive a certificate, please fill out the registration form available below.

Deadline for registration: 16th April, 2025.

The conference will be held on-site. The conference venues are:
  • 16th May – Pontifical University of John Paul II, 10 Bobrzyńskiego Street, 30-348 Krakow,
  • 17th May – Pontifical University of John Paul II, 3 Bernardyńska Street, 31-069 Krakow.

We are pleased to invite you to attend the conference dedicated to family and education. Despite numerous crises which have affected the family, it remains the basic educational environment. As a social group, the family is also an integral part of the national educational system which has been undergoing dynamic changes. This dependence highlights considerable educational potential which may provide opportunities for development to children, teenagers, adults and the oldest family members. We are aware of the deficiencies and obstacles in the educational process in the family. We recognise significant needs in the social dimension of education. Therefore, it is crucially important to organise academic meetings and foster discussions on these important issues.

Main topics
  1. Education in the Family.
  2. Family in the Educational System.
  3. Social Aspects of Education.
  4. Education for Ethnic Minorities.
  5. Inclusive Education.
  6. Student Session (on the topics listed above).

Official language of the conference: English

All the accepted abstracts will be published in an abstracts book with an ISBN number. Conference papers can be published in “Studia Socialia Cracoviensia”, run by the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow (https://czasopisma.upjp2.edu.pl/studiasocialiacracoviensia), or in “Különleges Bánásmód” (“Special Treatment”), run by the University of Debrecen (https://ojs.lib.unideb.hu/kulonlegesbanasmod).
